About me

My name is Elisabet Edvardsen. I am a multidisciplinary designer with a diverse background in disciplines as exhibition design, app design to product, graphic design, illustration, social design and sustainable design.
I have a master degree in Situated Design from AKV St. Joost Academy of Fine Art and DesMaster’s program in Situated Design in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. I graduated in 2022 with the title Cum Laude.

I recently have dived more into the practice social design working with complex social issue, addressing the discrimination and stigma faced by people with visual disabilities. I'm passionate about giving them a "visual voice" through immersive storytelling that combines video, interactive games, and multi-sensory elements like sound, touch, and visuals to foster empathy and understanding.

As a multidisciplinary designer, I thrive on expressing myself through various mediums, constantly pushing the boundaries of creativity to explore new ideas and possibilities. My curiosity and open-minded approach drive me to embrace fresh perspectives across different disciplines. I consider myself
a problem solver, with a strong passion for contributing to society through meaningful design. This allows me to easily adapt myself to different projects while expanding my creative horizons.
